This is my own take and opinion on the LifeWave X39/X49 patches that I’ve seen around. I’ve even been personally approached by a “rep” who tried to get me into this. This entire document is my opinion, and not factual unless explicitly stated.
This isn’t something I would normally write about but after being personally approached by a sales person for this product, then doing my own research. I had to share my findings.
Anyway, read on…
LifeWave claim use of PhotoTherapy in which their patches reflect the bodyiess natural infrared “light” back into itself, promoting cell growth and stem cell renewal/stimulation.
The bodies infrared output is around 9.4microns (black-body output, classed under the Far-Infrared spectrum IR-C) which has the least photon energy out of the 3 categories.
A patch the size of a 50p will not reflect much, if any, radiation back into the body. The same affect would be achieved by using a tinfoil circle and some tape.
For an infrared light source to take effect, it would have to have a significantly larger output of IR (for example an infrared lamp from Boots) which relies on both heat and IR light to increase blood flow to certain areas of the body.
LifeWave state on their website in their disclaimer the following:
“LiveWave products are for general wellness and intended only to maintain or encourage a general state of health or a healthy activity. The content provide by LifeWave is presented in summary form, is general in nature, and is provided for informational purposes only. Always consult with your physician or other qualified health care provider before embarking on a new health regimen, diet or fitness program. Do not disregard any medical advice you have received or delay in seeking it. LifeWave reserves the right to change product prices or selection.”
Which is a long-winded statement for “This product does nothing but give you a reason to think you’re feeling better and to give you a reason to go out and do things because you want to try out your new patch to see if it actually works, in turn curing you of the issue you had in the first place”
LEGAL ISSUES:
LifeWave have been involved in a number of legal issues, mainly arising from their claim that their product involves “stem cells” which is a big no-no unless scientifically proven (which it has not been by anyone other than their own house lab which cites 4 references, whereas the counter argument states 41 references and is endorsed by the Ministry Of Health – https://www.gov.il/en/pages/29012024-01)
LifeWaves own policies prohibit networking marketers to be selling on a publicly accessible platform, yet here we are on Amazon with their X39 patches – https://www.amazon.co.uk/LIFEWAVE-Patches- Advance-Wellness-Research/dp/B0CW6QVFJG
The company has also been in hot water for under-declaring their Corporate Tax and VAT when filing their accounts. https://www.irishtimes.com/business/health-pharma/lifewave-s-miraculous- patches-don-t-keep-the-dreaded-taxman-away-1.2461712
The have also been singled out by the FDA for not being compliant and prompted them to issue a full statement in regards to “stem cell therapy” treatments and how they are not yet effective yet they hoped in the future it would be a viable thing.
LifeWave is a widely known “MLM” or “Pyramid Scheme” where you must recruit and invest to earn, majority of the time investing more in combined time and money than you would receive back. A quick google search of the company along with “pyramid” yields some interesting articles, forums and discussions, all of which collectively agree that LifeWave is not only a pyramid scheme, but a downright scam. LifeWave like to call this strategy as “Legs”, where you recruit 2 people and they are your left and right legs.
The “LifeWave New Member Manual” states you need to follow the 3-3-3 method. So if you are approached by someone who is a part of LifeWave, don’t feel special, its what they need to do to stay part of the team.
- Patch 3 people per day,
- Invite 3 people to a zoom meeting or in person meeting,
- Follow up with the 3 people you patched (you can also track their progress on their online LifeWave profile)
They also have an A-Z of peoples jobs which they encourage you to try and tick off when recruiting (such as A-Accountant, B-Banker, C-Car Salesman/ChildCare and so on…)
Their “Patch Technology Education” website (https://patchedu.com) states to “Maximise your benefits” you need to do the following:
- Consume 4-5 ounces of water every 30 minutes
- Use electrolytes daily
- Lessen processed sugar intake
- Lessen processed foods
- Eat more healthful foods
- Consider taking CoQ10 in the morning
- Consider taking Turmeric before bed
Correct me if I’m wrong, but those are normal things that you do when you’re trying to be healthier, wouldn’t you feel better if you were wearing the patch or not if you were to follow this?
The “Patch Manual” is published by Dr Jen, who isn’t actually a doctor, but a Naturopath, did you know its that easy to get the Dr title? I didn’t. She fully supports the holistic approach to health, which I understand, but isn’t selling stick on foil patches for £150 a bit much. She is the same person who is promoting rubbing a cream with O3 apparently as an ingredient. Which is literally the equivalent of rubbing Ozone on your face, which I didn’t even know was possible. Ozone, which I shouldn’t even have to write, is extremely damaging to your skin, eyes, nose, throat, your whole body as a whole as well as the environment.
